Roger Maitland – BA (Hons), MA Professional Development
Roger is a founding member and director of LifeLab. He practices as a leadership coach and as an organisational development consultant. He has considerable experience in coaching and large-scale change management in both corporate and governmental organisations across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Roger’s coaching has a strong evidence base and offers the client a structured process to reframe and change their personal and organizational context in a sustainable manner. He particularly helps leaders deal with complexity and develop the resilience needed in modern business contexts.
Roger has impressive academic credentials.
He is currently a PhD student at University of Cape Town, Graduate School of Business researching complexity leadership. He is a faculty member of University of Stellenbosch teaching the MPhil in Management Coaching. He developed original coaching curriculum for South African College of Applied Psychology and he was previously the Western Cape Chairman of COMENSA.
In between, Roger finds time to follow his passion for music. He is an accomplished vocal soloist.
